Entrance Assessments

It's important to research each school of interest to see if entrance testing is required.

Many Universities in Washington have become test-optional, but out of state schools and scholarships may require a test score! 

What is the PSAT?

The PSAT/NMSQT (or National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is a preliminary version of the SAT

Helps prepare students to take the SAT or ACT and a great score on the PSAT can also lead to a National Merit Scholarship

When should I take it?

10th and/or 11th grade

How do I sign up?

BVA students can sign up to take the PSAT at the in-person high schools

Students need to contact the school to find out the test date and enrollment process

How much does it cost?

Approximately $15
